Radio Canada Workshops
Friday, December 4 2026, from 09:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Facilitator(s) : Judith Marois Jones
Discover media professions and the creation of journalistic reports!
Are your children interested in exploring the world of media? Radio-Canada is transforming [name of institution] into a real-life film set!
Over the course of 3 hours, your young ones will step into the roles of a full production crew—covering journalism, camera work, sound recording, directing, and editing. Guided by our teams, they will create a video report inspired by La Minute Maj or Topos Rad !
It’s a creative activity that might just reveal hidden talents—both in front of and behind the camera!
Why take part?
✅ Explore the world of journalism
✅ Get hands-on experience with filming and reporting
✅ Work as a team and develop creativity
✅ Have fun without any pressure—the joy of learning is what matters most!
Practical details

● Free—registration required
An approach inspired by cultural mediation
By reaching out to young people and making its spaces and production equipment accessible, the Radio-Canada team fosters civic engagement and shares immersive, inclusive, and community-building experiences centered on media and the professions within the field.
These experiences—which focus on the process of experimentation rather than the final product—allow young people to explore freely and work as a team, enriching their knowledge and learning.
The goal is to have fun: it’s the experience that counts, not the result!
